Question: Can these be custom cut to different lengths?
Answer: Yes, our incandescent rope light can be custom cut but only at certain increments.
2 feet intervals for our green, purple, pink, amber, clear, frosted white, yellow, and red.
1.5 ft intervals for our blue
3 ft intervals for our red/yellow, red/clear, and red/blue.
If you were to cut anywhere that is not designated to cut you run the risk of the whole light not working.
Question: What is the voltage of the rope light?
Answer: Our incandescent rope light is 120V
Question: What is the wattage per foot?
Answer: it is 3 watts per foot.
Question: What is the warranty for the rope light?
Answer: Our incandescent rope light has a 1 year warranty.
Question: Can this rope light be used outside?
Answer: Our rope light can be used for both indoor/outdoor use. We do recommend that, if it is being exposed to the elements, it has some covering and that the plug is protected.
Question: Is there a lead length on the rope light?
Answer: The power cord for the rope light is 6’ long.
Question: Is the rope light dimmable? Do you sell dimmers?
Answer: Our rope light is dimmable, unfortunately we do not sell dimmers but you can find them at local hardware stores.

Question: What is the bulb life on the rope light?
Answer: 25,000 Hour Vertical Bulbs
Question: Can I connect two 150’ spools together?
Answer: These cannot be connected together. Each 150 foot spool needs to be plugged in individually.
Question: What is the bulb spacing?
Answer: The bulb spacing is 1”
Question: How much flexibility does the rope light have?
Answer: It can have a flexible bend of 180 degrees.
Question:Will the color of the rope light be a true red, blue, green, etc.
Answer: The Incandescent rope light bulbs have a white light inside and the tubing is a colored tubing. Because the light inside is white, the color on the outside is muted. If you want a true color, please take a look at the LED rope light options, these have a colored light inside and will shine true to color.
Question:Does the color coating fade for the rope light tubing?
Answer: We add a UV protectant to our rope lightIf the rope light plastic but in outdoor areas that are constantly exposed to sunlight the rope light will start to turn brown.
Question:Does the rope light get hot?
Answer:Our rope light does get warm to the touch.
Question: Are the incandescent rope lights UL Listed?
Answer: Our 150’ spool is UL listed.
Question: Does the power cord contain a fuse/an extra fuse?
Answer: Yes the plug has 1 working fuse and the extra fuse is taped to the cord. To locate the fuse you will need to remove the screw located between the prongs on the plug.
