Question: What is a coaxial light set? 

Answer: A coaxial light set looks just like our other light sets, the only difference is the connection. The coax strings have a water tight, screw down connection instead of a male and female plug. 

Question: How do I plug in these lights? 

Answer: Our coaxial lights do require a power source to be plugged in. We have the power supply available, sold separately. Please Click here to view this product.

Question: What are the lengths of the wires? 

Answer: Please see below for the following lengths we carry in our coaxial mini light sets: 

• 50 light sets come in 17ft and 25ft strands

• 100 light sets come in 34ft and 50ft strands

Question: What is the number of lights and bulb spacing that is available? 

Answer: Please see below for the bulb spacing for each length:

• 50 light with 4” spacing is 17’ long

• 50 light with 6” spacing is 25’ long 

• 100 light with 4”spacing is 34’ long

• 100 light with 6” spacing is 50’ long 

Question: What is the wattage of the Coaxial mini sets? 

Answer: Please see below for the wattage and amps: 

• 50 light = 4.8watts & 0.04amps 

• 100 light= 9.6watts & 0.08amps

Question: How many sets can I connect together? 

Answer: Please see the max set connections below: 

• 50 light = 43 sets 

• 100 light = 21 sets 

Question: What is the voltage of these string sets? 

Answer: These lights are 120V. 

Question: What is the bulb lifespan on these sets? 

Answer: These have a 40,000 hour bulb life. 

Question: What is the warranty on these lights? 

Answer: These have a 3 season warranty. 

Question: What is wire gauge? 

Answer: 22 AWG 

Question: Are these lights only available in wide angle 5mm bulbs? 

Answer: No, we also have these available in M5 faceted and G12 globe. 

Question: How do I make different connections if my project requires it? 

Answer: As many projects are different, there are items that can be purchased to help customize. We sell various connectors that can be used. Please click the following products to view these options.

Question: What color wire is available? 

Answer: We carry coaxial options in green, brown, and black wire. 

Question: Can I buy replacement bulbs? 

Answer:  Unfortunately you cannot purchase replacement bulbs for these strands, the lights are molded into the socket and are non removable. 

Question: Are the strings UL listed?

Answer: These strings are not UL Listed.

Question: Will the color of the bulb be a true red, blue, green, etc.

Answer: LED bulbs have the same color light inside as the color of the bulb, so this will make them more true to color than their incandescent counterparts.

Question: Are these dimmable?

Answer: Yes these are dimmable, but they will not dim from 100% to 0%. You will need to use a LED compatible dimmer.
